I built this site in order to let clients see what a drupal site would look like in some of the contributed themes.
Using a custom module, it synchronises its themes with the contributed Drupal 7 themes available on drupal.org. Contributed modules enable visitors to switch the site's theme.
For most of 2011 I worked full time as a web developer at Catch Digital. Working on a range of differenct projects, here are some examples of the things I built:
A basic Drupal site for an abstract painter, this site enables Rhian to manage and display her portfolio of paintings using slideshows and a lightbox-enabled gallery.
Independent record label Ruffa Lane needed a content management system for their roster of artists. I chose Drupal for its flexibility in handling media.
The site uses a Flash-based media player to securely stream audio files, and aggregates RSS feeds from the label's bands, enabling integration of blog content and Google Calendars for tour dates.
Nutritionist Bethany Eaton originally asked Ruby Design to develop her website in 2006. We recently updated the design and added a simple content management system, with integrated blog, using Wordpress. The custom theme makes use of a range of plugins including Nextgen Gallery, as well as a mailing list using Mailpress.
After the success of her main business, Bethany launched an e-commerce site for Bethany. I developed the site using Drupal and Ubercart, incorporating the Yahoo User Interface library with the Ubercart shopping basket to handle product date selection.
Plan London, a company who create floor plans for commercial property, asked Ruby Design to develop a system for their clients to be able to view floor plans. I built a site using Drupal, making use of a range of contributed modules to achieve the necessary functionality.
I initially started building this community art listings site as a learning project in order to teach myself more about Drupal's location modules.
The site includes several custom modules for content display
